POSITION OVERVIEW
In the capacity of Director of Residential Program Services, you will be responsible for the oversight of one or more residential facilities, ensuring that all consumers receive optimal care and that the facilities operate smoothly. This position entails supervising staff, managing programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, accompanied by exceptional benefits

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Clinical team to develop and implement residents' treatment plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
  • Oversee residence staff to guarantee the efficient functioning of the facility.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and provide essential training opportunities.
  • Effectively manage crisis situations and medical emergencies.
  • Ensure adherence to abuse prevention protocols.
  • Establish and enforce rules and procedures for the residential facility.
  • Coordinate daily household activities to foster resident independence.
  • Assist residents with their medical needs and facilitate community integration.
  • Provide transportation support for residents as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Possession of a valid New York State Driver's License is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in the English language is necessary.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and adaptive equipment is beneficial.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field is required.
A minimum of five years of managerial experience, ideally within the developmental disabilities sector, is necessary.
