Job Title: Client Service Associate

Job Summary:

The Client Service Associate is a key role within Neuberger Berman's Institutional business, responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our clients. This position will work closely with Client Service Advisors to ensure seamless client delivery, coordinate client requests, and provide administrative support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Client Service Advisors to review and send client reporting deliverables, prepare for meetings, and coordinate client requests.
  • Support the coordination of ad hoc client inquiries, regular portfolio reviews, and due diligence meetings.
  • Review and ensure the quality of client reporting content, including researching data discrepancies.
  • Provide in-depth information on client mandates, investment benchmarks, and servicing requirements to internal partners.
  • Work with Client Service Advisors to ensure Neuberger Berman delivers on client requirements established in Investment Management Agreements.
  • Forge close relationships with client representatives, understand client needs, and deliver value-added services tailored to each client's requirements.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of client administration and related service delivery from internal support functions.
  • Assist with onboarding new client accounts, including asset transfers, legal review, and system setup.
  • Proactively identify trigger events that may impact client mandates and work with the team to mobilize the Firm.
Qualifications:
  • Strong achievement in an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated and team-oriented individual with a desire to work on a wide range of projects.
  • Exhibits high integrity and interest in financial markets and investment strategy.
  • Ability to work well with different individuals and contacts at all levels of the business in a high-pressure environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent presentation, business writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 5+ years of client service or asset management experience required.
  • Series 7, 66, and 31 licenses preferred (required within the first year of employment).
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
