Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting families and promoting early childhood development? NAPPR is seeking a dedicated Home Visitor to join our Early Head Start program. As a Home Visitor, you will provide culturally-sensitive and relevant home-based services to children and families, promoting positive parent-child interactions and connecting families to community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide home-based services to children and families, following EHS performance standards and requirements
  • Support positive parent-child interactions and provide guidance on child development, health, and nutrition
  • Link families to available community resources and provide child wellness screenings

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or 2 years of college-level education in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and their parents in a home-based environment
  • Experience with providing culturally appropriate services and knowledge of Reflective Practices, best practices, and parenting education

Special Working Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and current automobile liability policy with continuous coverage
  • Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • No substantiation or criminal conviction of child abuse or neglect
