Program Associate/Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our program team as a Program Associate/Coordinator. This role will support the development and implementation of programs in Detroit and Chicago, working closely with our Vice President for Educational Operations and Regional Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support program logistics, including event planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Develop and prepare program materials, such as invitations, agendas, and presentations.
  • Form and maintain partnerships with external vendors and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel and itineraries for visiting faculty and staff.
  • Support contracting and scheduling processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of program and participant data.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of program evaluations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the program team.
Requirements:
  • 1-5 years of professional experience.
  • General understanding of the Jewish community a plus.
  • Able to work independently and effectively manage up.
  • Team player with a passion for SHI NA's mission.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Hebrew.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Track record of demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good sense of humor.
  • Ability and willingness to travel a few times per month.
  • Ability to staff weekly evening programs and occasional weekend programs.
  • BA/BS or equivalent.
What We Offer:

Salary range $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits package.
