Advanced Practice RN Provider-Radiology Specialist

The Department of Radiology at The MetroHealth System, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team performing GI/GU Fluoroscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care consistent with education, experience, and certification, in collaboration with a physician, including diagnosis, management, and/or referral of healthcare issues.
- Promote consumer, family, and community health through preventative healthcare actions and patient advocacy.
- Uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
- Perform fluoroscopy-guided procedures, including barium enema, barium follow-through, barium swallow, fluoroscopy-guided injections of joints and fistula, and speech/swallow studies under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- Nurse Practitioner required credentials:
- Graduate of an accredited DNP or MSN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program.
- Current RN and APRN license in the state of Ohio.
- Board Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in a family nurse practitioner or dual certified adult/pediatric nurse practitioner specialty.
- Current BLS.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice.
- Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth.
- Maintains a standard care arrangement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Physician Assistant required credentials:
- Graduate of an accredited Doctoral or MS Physician Assistant program.
- Current PA licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant from NCCP.
- Current BLS.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice.
- Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth.
- Maintains a supervision agreement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Medicine.
