Job Title: Foreperson - Tree Trimming and Clearing

Wright Tree Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreperson to lead our tree trimming and clearing crews. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects, while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train crew members in tree trimming and clearing techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement crew work plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with customers, utility companies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage crew costs, including labor, equipment, and materials, to achieve budgetary targets.
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve crew performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in tree trimming or clearing, with a strong background in arboriculture and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train crew members.
  • Knowledge of ANSI Z133 and A300 standards, as well as OSHA regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license, medical card, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
