About This Role

The Strategic Investments team at Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) is seeking a highly skilled Fund Development professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to raise capital for our impact investment funds.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and present pitches to new and existing investors to secure funding for our impact investment funds.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, including senior directors and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior directors to create compelling marketing content that showcases our fund offerings and articulates our investment strategy.
  • Drive investment deals forward, working closely with legal, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Assemble due diligence information and respond to investor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop sensitivity analysis and downside risk analysis for financial models to inform investment decisions.
  • Provide sales and business development support to senior directors, including quarterly reports on assets under management and fund offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communication and business activities in our support systems.
  • Plan and organize quarterly and annual investor events to foster relationships and promote our fund offerings.
  • Help implement software solutions to improve and streamline processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum three years of related work experience, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator or InDesign is a plus.
  • Domestic travel up to 25% estimated annually.
Location and Compensation

This position will be based in Washington, DC, with a competitive salary range of $81,600 - $102,000, commensurate with experience and location. LISC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, disability insurance, retirement savings, and tuition assistance.
