Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) is a leading impact investment firm that empowers communities to thrive. We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Development Specialist to drive our investment strategy forward.

About the Role:
  • Develop and present pitches to new and existing investors to secure funding for our impact investment funds, leveraging financial modeling and market analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, including senior directors and other stakeholders, to foster a strong network of supporters.
  • Create marketing content that clearly articulates our fund offerings and drives investment deals, utilizing expertise in financial communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assemble due diligence information and respond to investor inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to support investment decisions.
  • Develop sensitivity analysis and down-side risk analysis for financial models, applying advanced financial skills to inform investment decisions.
  • Provide sales and business development support to senior directors, contributing to the growth and success of our investment funds.
  • Produce quarterly reports on assets under management and fund offerings, providing key insights and metrics to inform investment strategy.
  • Maintain detailed records of client communication and business activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Plan and organize quarterly and annual investor events, fostering a strong sense of community and connection among investors and stakeholders.
  • Help implement software solutions to improve and streamline processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum three years of related work experience, preferably in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
  • Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and experience with Adobe Illustrator or InDesign, with a keen eye for detail and visual communication.
  • Domestic travel up to 25% estimated annually, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
