About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Assembler I to join our team at Axelon. As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for assembling and packing various products, operating equipment, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and pack products according to customer orders
- Operate equipment and maintain necessary records
- Check completed parts for quality and make adjustments as needed
- Use hand and power tools to complete builds
- Operate packaging and wrapping equipment
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations
- High school diploma or GED-equivalent
- At least 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and blueprints
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to use a crane once fully trained
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of basic shop math and assembly
- Ability to use measuring equipment and hand and power tools
