ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vital member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, the Aircraft Body Repair Specialist will support the Paint Technicians in preparing aircraft surfaces for painting. This position is ideal for those with foundational skills in auto body work, restoration, or automotive painting who are seeking a career with growth potential. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing surfaces and bodywork components for priming
  • Blocking primed components
  • Executing wet lay-up procedures
  • Masking components that are ready for painting
  • Completing all necessary documentation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the body shop and staging areas
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in bodywork and/or automotive painting or preparation is advantageous
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and maintain a positive attitude
  • High standards for following instructions, attention to detail, and quality of work
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and navigate the facility as required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, organized, and driven individual
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
