At Truist Inc., we're looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Strategist Leader to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives forward.

About the Job

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Cybersecurity Strategist Leader, you will work closely with senior leaders and executives to define information security initiatives, vision, and approach to meet security business needs, risks, exposures, and remediation.

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced professional who can:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive initiatives to completion and rollout, enhance security standards, integrate solutions, and maintain the strategic direction of Cybersecurity.
  • Oversee and communicate the cybersecurity programs, which includes providing strategic direction, financial oversight, and investment prioritization of new security controls/initiatives to address emerging threats.
  • Manage portfolio reporting and delivery of cybersecurity controls/capabilities to address risks in our environment.

You will be responsible for applying a solid understanding of IAM concepts and using knowledge of the business and key processes to drive improvements. You will also solve routine problems of moderate complexity by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment, and precedents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training.
  • More than seven years of demonstrated progressive experience in Cybersecurity, with emphasis on data loss prevention, vulnerability management, access management, firewalls, security awareness training, etc.
  • Excellent ability to express complex multi-disciplinary technical and business concepts in terms that are understandable to all levels of Lines of Business and corporate management both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity terms, concepts, disciplines, frameworks, best practices, and industry/regulatory requirements.
