Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Cybersecurity Strategist, Vulnerability Risk Management to lead our team in managing risk and driving technology strategies that enable our businesses to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities


The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in cybersecurity, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:



  • Developing and executing a comprehensive global strategy aligned with the Information Security Office (ISO) strategy and organizational goals.
  • Driving AIG's information security strategy through the integration of business applications to various ISO solutions.
  • Providing technical and operational support for specialized applications and systems.
  • Designing, developing, and leading initiatives through full lifecycle, performing analysis and configuration functions, and assessing and resolving defects/incidents.
  • Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements, target state processes, and implementation plans.
  • Leading the definition of architecture and process standards for the software security scorecard platform and supporting the ongoing evolution and development of BSD strategies, roadmaps, and plans.
  • Ensuring software environments comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry frameworks; conducting regular audits and assessments.
  • Setting the guidance associated with measuring application security controls.
  • Providing regular reporting and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Contributing to evaluation, selection, and configuration of pertinent products and services from vendors.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders, cross-functional technology teams, and vendors.

Requirements


The ideal candidate will have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Related Field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or CEH, and/or other IT certifications.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience interpreting security product designs and business requirements to drive adoption of solutions that span across multiple technologies, businesses, and geographies.
  • Subject matter expertise in developing best practices around standardized management of controls.
  • High-level proficiency writing complex Microsoft SQL stored procedures and functions and possessing strong debugging skills and ability to identify and fix issues/bugs identified.
  • Experience with various security vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tanium, Veracode, WhiteHat, or similar.
  • Expert experience Business Intelligence tools such as Qlikview and PowerBI.
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Microsoft SCCM, and Mega Hopex.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and common security issues.
  • Expert in networking with understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP protocols, proxies, firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, switches.
  • Experience managing vendors driving SLA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop solutions.
  • Skilled in handling stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
  • Ability to guide teams through complex issues and drive resolution for issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with many levels of management and across multiple lines of business and corporate functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary Range


$170,000 - $200,000 per year
