Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Texas Licensed State Land Surveyor to join our Geospatial Division in one of our Texas offices. As a key member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects, including land surveys, property determinations, and boundary research.

Responsibilities
  • Perform land surveys, property determinations, and boundary research
  • Work with WGI Market & Operational Leaders to develop business strategies and grow geospatial services
  • Responsible for growth and profitability of the company
  • Assist in development and execution of strategic operational goals and KPIs
  • Mentor, manage, and train field and office associates
  • Perform work safely and effectively
Qualifications
  • Current Licensure as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) and LSLS in the State of Texas
  • 10+ years of experience as RPLS with experience in Transportation market preferred
  • TxDOT pre-certifications for surveying categories
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Civil3D preferred
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

This role is performed in an office setting, requiring hand-eye coordination to operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse. The use of a telephone headset allows for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands/fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
