Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Land Surveyor Instructor to join our team at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and advising students in the Land Surveyor program, as well as contributing to the educational environment of the college and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Land Surveyor courses at various times and locations, utilizing innovative methodologies and delivery methods to enhance student learning.
  • Develop and implement course syllabi within college and departmental guidelines.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback, identifying areas for improvement and providing additional instruction as needed.
  • Recruit and advise students in their area of expertise.
  • Manage classrooms and labs, ensuring compliance with state requirements.
  • Assist with student job placement and work directly with certification agencies to ensure program and student success.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher, with a license or certification in the Surveying Industry, and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the surveying industry.
