Responsibilities:- Team Leadership and Development: Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, supervising, evaluating, motivating, communicating with, leading, and disciplining all employees within the store.
- Operational Efficiency: Plan, direct, and schedule employee work to optimize labor utilization, align with workflow, and maximize profitability.
- Inventory Management: Maintain meticulous inventory control and oversee inventory taking procedures to ensure efficient cash flow for the organization.
- Compliance and Safety: Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures, adhering to state and federal laws, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
- Pricing Accuracy: Monitor customer pricing to maintain strict control over gross-profit margins.
- Administrative Support: Perform necessary administrative duties.
- Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key customers.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team with exceptional customer service skills
- 1-2 years of supervisory and/or management experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar retail or distribution environment preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
