Position Overview:
As an Insurance Risk Assessment Specialist with InsurSolv, LLC, you will play a crucial role in evaluating both commercial and residential properties for insurance loss control purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections to assess the physical attributes, exterior dimensions, and overall condition of properties.
  • Documenting observable hazards and providing detailed recommendations in comprehensive reports.
  • Acting as the representative for insurance underwriters, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately captured and reported.

Independent Contractor Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage a high volume of inspections efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a resourceful mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A self-driven approach to work, with the capability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective organizational skills to prioritize and schedule inspections in a timely manner.
  • Preferred qualifications include VIITA Certification or experience in related fields such as construction, plumbing, electrical work, life safety, or property management.

  • Access to web browsers such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and Internet Explorer 11.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader for document handling.
  • A reliable broadband internet connection.
  • A digital camera or smartphone compatible with PC interfacing.
  • A color inkjet or laser printer for documentation purposes.
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance and a driver's license.
  • Basic tools including a measuring wheel, monopod, and clipboard.
