Position: Construction Manager – Mechanical

Qualifications

Attention to detail is crucial. Experience with manufacturing clients across diverse environments is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in interpreting construction drawings and specifications, identifying any inconsistencies or conflicts. Familiarity with civil/site work (including concrete, steel, building envelope, MEP, etc.) is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. A commitment to contributing positively to a collaborative work culture is vital, along with the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Supervisory Duties

This position entails overseeing the activities of general contractors on-site and managing performance outcomes related to the project.

Work Environment

The role requires frequent site inspections, with exposure to ongoing construction activities and varying weather conditions. Noise levels may range from moderate to loud.

Physical Requirements

While performing job duties, the employee will regularly need to sit, communicate, and listen. Frequent use of hands for handling tasks is necessary, along with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and color differentiation.

Position Type and Work Hours

This is a full-time role, with hours varying by project requirements. Flexibility may be possible, but extended hours may be necessary.

Travel Requirements

Travel is primarily local during business hours, with potential out-of-state travel for project coordination. Short-term relocation may be required based on project needs.
