Job Title: Foreman

At Synectics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our construction projects to success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-plan and coordinate project activities, including material orders, layout, and manpower allocation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to client SOPs and industry regulations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, morale, and chemistry among team members.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate potential delays or issues, ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Execute the project plan, ensuring successful completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team growth, morale, and collaboration.
  • Ensure quality work, fostering a successful client relationship for future projects.
  • Regularly conduct toolbox talks, promoting safety practices and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining open communication with the team through daily logs and two-week lookaheads.
Competencies:
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, specs, and contract documents.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical code and project planning.
  • Adequate experience with monetary project sizes.
  • Self-driven, with strong leadership skills, professionalism, and effective communication.
  • Ability to operate standard electrical trade equipment and tools.
  • Good knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, with proficiency in company software.
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism, be ambitious, and optimize resources.
  • Decision-making skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing change orders, documenting progress, and ensuring project timelines.
