Main Responsibilities:

As a Mainframe Analyst at Diverse Lynx LLC, you will be responsible for decommissioning the Application component for Mainframe Sunset. This involves collaborating with the Applications, Infrastructure teams, and Cloud strategy architect to develop and execute a detailed plan for decommissioning the mainframe application footprint with the infrastructure team.

Key Tasks:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify all dependencies and ensure that no critical processes are disrupted.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with the decommissioning process.
Validate the completeness and accuracy of the migrated data.
Develop backup and recovery strategies for the mainframe environment to ensure all components are accounted for before decommissioning.

Requirements:

Expertise in Mainframe Application Batch, database components, and scheduling tool knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
