About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Vitalant. As a key member of our HLA Laboratory, you will play a critical role in supporting our life-saving mission by providing accurate and precise lab results for routine and stat testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-complexity clinical testing and instrument management under minimal supervision in a CLIA laboratory.
  • Provide accurate and precise lab results for routine and stat testing in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of scientific principles in analysis.
  • Follow and understand quality control procedures for equipment and reagent qualifications.
  • Identify unacceptable performance and notify appropriate personnel.

  • A Monday-Friday schedule with call every 4 weeks, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology, or clinical laboratory science.
  • CLIA requirements for high complexity testing.
  • A state license, as required by regulations.
