Medical Laboratory Specialist

At Providence Health & Service, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing professional clinical laboratory science services, including laboratory testing, quality control, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the clinic's mission, goals, and objectives by exemplifying the short- and long-term vision, values, and goals of the department.
- Provide professional clinical laboratory science services, including laboratory testing, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
- ASCP certification or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
