Job Opportunity Overview

Grooves of Houston in Texas is seeking a skilled Floor Manager to contribute to our team. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and overseeing server staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and interacting with guests in a friendly manner to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and discipline of server staff.
  • Overseeing staff scheduling, ensuring adequate floor coverage, and providing support during peak periods.
  • Managing cash handling, tallying receipts, and processing staff take-home pay/tips.
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interacting and cooperating with all staff members to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Exhibiting a strong understanding of server responsibilities and nightly routines.
  • Ensuring the venue complies with local health and safety regulations.
  • Previous experience as a server or manager with exceptional customer service and communication skills is required.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and work collaboratively to address issues professionally and courteously.
