We are actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a growing manufacturing company in Rochester, NY. Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production and facilities/auxiliary equipment
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair all production-related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical issues, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, heat exchangers, central chillers, and central water reclaim systems
- Responsible for Barrel/Screw/Check Ring maintenance and Measurements
- Individually responsible for a bank of molding machines and robotics, which are audited daily
- Responsible for adhering to all safety rules and always wearing proper PPE
- May be responsible for training others or leading a team to perform a repair
- May be required to service Pixley Road and Buffalo Road facilities as needed, using own vehicle
- Minimum of two years of experience with plastic injection, plant automation/robotics, and auxiliary equipment
- Minimum of two years of experience with plastic injection and auxiliary equipment in a clean room environment
- Use and understanding of electrical testing equipment for troubleshooting
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics/prints
- Experience with 24VDC, 208 Single and three phase, 480 VAC
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Open to working a flexible schedule
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- High school diploma preferred
- Trade School, Apprenticeship, Technical Associates Degree or Work-Related Experience strongly preferred
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a manufacturing environment with heavy lifting, high noise levels, climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and kneeling.
Compensation:The salary for this position is $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year.
