Position Overview:

Soliant is in search of a committed and empathetic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support our educational initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assist students facing challenges in speech, language, and communication.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the SLP in executing tailored treatment strategies for students with communication disorders.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions in accordance with the SLP's protocols and directives.
  • Track and report on student progress, offering insights to the supervising SLP.
  • Prepare and manage therapy resources and activities effectively.
  • Engage with educators, families, and school personnel to enhance students' communication skills.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student achievements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related discipline.
  • Current SLPA certification or license in Connecticut.
  • Experience working with children, ideally within an educational framework.
