Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Omnicare team in a Back End role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medication to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in various pharmacy workstations to grow your skillset and contribute to the team's success.
  • Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients.
  • Perform physical inventories of medication and coordinate stock rotations.
  • Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, and rotate stock.
  • Coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely.

Requirements:

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • PTCB National Certification.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
