Position Overview

The Safety and Security Specialist plays a vital role within our Security Services team. In this capacity, you will ensure the protection of MultiCare Health System properties and facilities. You will be entrusted with the security and safety of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general security operations to safeguard individuals and property while enforcing relevant policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Deter criminal activities and misconduct through proactive measures.
  • Consistently embody the mission and values of MultiCare Health System, exercising discretion and sound judgment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive work environment.
  • Engage with a service-oriented mindset, demonstrating professional integrity and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • IAHSS basic certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in law enforcement, military, or security, preferably in a healthcare context.
  • Proof of a safe driving record that meets established standards.
