Security Supervisor

CPI Security Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team in the Tacoma area. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at our locations, ensuring the safety and security of our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and managing security personnel
- Conducting interviews and hiring new security officers
- Providing training on security policies and procedures
- Conducting site visits to monitor security operations and communicate with security officers and clients
- Ensuring compliance with company and DOL regulations
- Utilizing software such as Excel, Word, and Gmail to manage security operations
- One year of experience as a licensed security officer
- Must have a smartphone and data plan
- Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Must be able to exercise good judgment in handling a variety of situations
- Must have the ability to use a tablet and smartphone
- Must be able to calmly and forcefully handle situations involving aggressive people
- Must possess tact and diplomacy in dealing with the public and staff
- Must possess the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information
- Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to drive, walk, run, bend from the waist, crouch, stretch, kneel, climb, twist, walk up and down stairs, and crawl without restrictions
- Must have manual dexterity in hands and fingers
Candidates must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and work outdoors in various environmental conditions.
