School Psychologist Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Lincoln. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families to develop and implement effective support plans.

Job Summary:
  • This is a full-time position working 5 days a week, 35 hours per week.
  • The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, evaluations, and individualized education planning.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  2. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student growth and development.
  3. Provide counseling and support to students and their families to promote academic and personal success.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to improve student outcomes and create a supportive learning environment.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must hold valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently is critical.
