Job Summary

As a Claims Adjuster - Liability Investigator at Progressive Insurance, you will play a critical role in investigating and resolving bodily injury claims. This is a hybrid role that requires you to work independently, managing both physical damage and non-attorney represented bodily injury exposures. You will be responsible for making coverage decisions, gathering details through interviews and investigations, and settling unrepresented bodily injury claims.

Key Responsibilities

- Investigate and analyze claims to determine liability and extent of coverage
- Gather information through interviews and investigations
- Make coverage decisions and settle claims within defined monetary limits
- Collaborate with customers, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims

Requirements

- 4 years of relevant work experience, with 1 year in claims handling
- OR Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant work experience, with 1 year in claims handling
- OR Bachelor's degree and 1 year in claims handling

Preferred Skills

- Auto and/or commercial insurance experience

- $59,800 - $77,400/year
