Job Opportunity: Scheduling Intern

Connico, a leading national construction consultancy, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scheduling Intern to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN. As a Scheduling Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our project management team in executing large-scale, complex airport construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input data into cost or schedule templates, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in first-pass quality control, reviewing deliverables for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather information on market trends and pricing.
  • Develop and input quantities on horizontal and/or vertical work, inserting into estimating templates.
  • Participate in client calls and meetings to learn about industry practices and Connico's relationship-building process.
  • Perform onsite construction observation, including document management, quantity tracking, and observation of construction activities.
  • Participate in project-level calls to learn about industry practices and Connico procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience interpreting civil, architectural, and/or structural drawings.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, A/E, or similar field; or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical writing, report-preparation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in basic office software, including Adobe, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Earthworks, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar software preferred but not required.
  • Experience with On-Screen Take-off or equivalent takeoff software preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Project Management Software, such as Appia, Procure, eBuilder, or equivalent, preferred but not required.

What We Offer:

Connico offers its Interns a competitive hourly rate starting at $22/hour. If you have relevant experience from other internships, co-ops, or full-time work, you may qualify to earn more.

This is a full-time hybrid position, with a mix of office and remote work. We are seeking candidates for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2025.
