Job Summary:
As the Lead Culinary Operations Manager, you will oversee both front and back of house operations within the food service departments.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining a high-quality culinary program and managing all financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise operations in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Engage in employee meetings and training sessions.
  • Implement safety, sanitation, and maintenance protocols.
  • Control food costs while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Actively participate in team development and management.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five years of progressive culinary management experience.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of multitasking.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and inspire the team.
  • Passion for excellence in culinary practices.
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage and usage.
  • Experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation.
  • Familiarity with P&L and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relations.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principles.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
