Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Youth Development Program Coordinator to join our team at Equus Workforce Solutions. This role plays a vital part in helping job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to four years' experience in human services, social services, education, or related field, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to work and develop professional relationships with community partners and participating youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and coordination of the YouthBuild program (partners, activities, resources, etc)
  • Keep program on schedule
  • Maintain relationships with partners and other key community stakeholders
  • Provide outreach and recruitment in preparation for program continuity
  • Support YouthBuild team and partners in case conferencing, problem solving, and resource connection
  • Implement the transformative culture in all program aspects and ensure students are getting what they need to be successful in the program from all program components
  • Deliver lessons as needed throughout the program on topics of career readiness, workplace success, etc
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with area employers and program participants
  • Provide referrals and coordination with other community resources and activities
  • Enter case related data on a regular basis
  • Compile and analyze information from a variety of sources to assist in the preparation of reports
  • Develop and implement solutions for various challenges
  • Responsibility for ensuring timely submissions of required reports and data entry

We offer an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
