Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Camden Clark Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including unit-dose medications and controlled substances.
  • Deliver medications to patients and maintain accurate records of medication distribution.
  • Restock and maintain inventory of medications and supplies in the pharmacy and patient care areas.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate medication information and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform arithmetic calculations and other tasks as needed to support the pharmacy team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or post-high school education in a science field preferred.
  • National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or EXCPT) required within 15 months of hire.
  • Registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician trainee required (except in Pennsylvania).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
