Position Overview

Venesco, LLC is in search of a Lead IT Systems Architect with expertise in both Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities grounded in ITIL framework principles.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of proven experience in the last five years providing Tier-2 or Tier-3 operational and maintenance support for on-premises and cloud-based Windows and Linux systems of comparable scope and complexity.
  • At least two (2) years of experience leading a team of IT professionals in a similar operational environment.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the last five years with a solid understanding of networking technologies and their application in IT settings of similar scale.
  • Two (2) years of experience applying information security principles in an IT environment of comparable scope.
  • Two (2) years of involvement in software development lifecycle activities within the last ten years.
  • Two (2) years of experience utilizing ITIL framework principles in an IT environment of similar complexity within the last ten years.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Fifteen (15) years of demonstrated experience in the last twenty years providing Tier-2 or Tier-3 operational and maintenance support for both on-premises and cloud-based Windows and Linux systems.
  • Three (3) years of experience in IT service delivery and design using ITIL framework principles within the last fifteen years.
  • One (1) year of experience with enterprise storage solutions.
  • One (1) year of experience in Systems Mapping.
  • One (1) year of experience in developing Strategic Roadmaps.
  • One (1) year of experience in architecting enterprise Windows environments.
  • One (1) year of experience in Linux environments.
