About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at W3Global Inc. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Quality Assurance Manager: Provide assistance to the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the Foreign Supplier Verification Program, Food Fraud Prevention Program, Environmental Monitoring Program, Mock Recall and Traceability Program, Approved Supplier Program, FDA pH Control, and Ingredient sampling, testing, and inspecting.
  • Assist in Maintaining GMP's and Internal Audits: Collaborate with the QA Manager and Plant Management team to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and internal and external audits.
  • Record Keeping and Validation: Assist in recording daily quality control, record keeping, and validation of daily processing.
  • Customer External Site Compliance: Maintain customer external site compliance requirements.
  • Quality Culture: Support and maintain a quality culture within the facility.
  • Employee Safety: Provide Employee Safety for dress code and/or personal protection items, monitoring, workers Compensation and/or confidential information.
  • Special Projects: Assist in special projects as requested by management.

Requirements:

  • HACCP, PCQI, and SQF Practitioner Certified: Must achieve HACCP, PCQI, and SQF Practitioner Certified (experience in BRCGS is a plus).
  • Problem Recognition and Communication: Must have the ability to recognize problems and communicate information and ideas in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Comprehension and Deductive Reasoning: Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences, and written communication, and logically process information to produce conclusions that make sense.
  • Confidentiality: Recognize the confidentiality of Employee or Company process or documents.
  • Technical Skills: Must possess exceptional Microsoft Word, Excel, and computer skills (customer sites compliance uploads).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
