Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, plant, and services to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Respond to technical issues and maintain electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PM).
  • Diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Estimate time required to complete jobs and identify potential consequences of failure to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and escalate potential hazards and report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
  • Use troubleshooting methods such as 5 Why, fish boning, and root cause analysis to resolve issues.
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and adheres to quality regulations.
  • Meet company targets for quality of parts produced and identify spares requirements.
  • Assist in developing PM schedules and carry out PM tasks as necessary.
  • Operate man lifts, forklifts, and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Work within 5S methodology to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Ensure personal protective equipment is available and used correctly.
  • Report lost time, minor, and trivial accidents and promote environmental awareness.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues and achieve company KPI targets.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a multicraft environment.
  • Leadership skills and experience preferred.
  • Ability to teach, coach, and mentor a team.
  • Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex prints and diagrams.
  • Ability to work with and diagnose CNC equipment.
  • Understanding of G code and M codes is desired.
  • PLC skills and electronic drive control skills.
  • Connected components and knowledge of Allen Bradley software desired.
  • Ability to work with and learn multiple types of drives, PLCs, HMI, and software.
  • Experience with Fanuc control desired.
  • Robotic experience is desired, but we will train.
  • Manufacturing experience is desired.
  • Exercise substantial initiative and judgment in work methods and interpreting goals.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Communicate with clarity and demonstrate excellence in approach to work and people activities.
  • Solid understanding of all people-related processes and procedures.
  • Able to identify root cause of any losses.
  • Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
