Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Wm Bolthouse Farms Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for administering leave of absence and disability programs for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance to employees on leave eligibility, benefit programs, and claim procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, legal, HR business partners, payroll, and external stakeholders, such as disability carriers, to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Manage leave of absence claims from initial notice to closure, including obtaining and completing required paperwork, determining eligibility, designating leave, requesting medical certification, and sending required notices.
  • Coordinate employee returns to work and identify, calculate, and communicate benefit premiums due upon return.
  • Offer exceptional customer service throughout the leave cycle to ensure a positive and informed experience.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements, documenting detailed documentation of the process.
  • Maintain current knowledge of leave guidelines under applicable federal and state laws.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of human resource experience with leave experience preferred.
  • Valid California Driver License.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish – required.
