About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at POAH Communities. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of our affordable multifamily and senior housing properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with HUD and state housing agency regulations
  • Guarantee resident and employee safety and health
  • Prepare and manage contracts for major repair work
  • Assist in collecting rents and processing move-ins/move-outs
  • Complete annual and interim certifications of households
  • Work closely with other staff members to achieve property goals
Requirements
  • Previous experience with government-assisted and subsidized housing programs
  • Certified as a Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist
  • Strong verbal, written, and customer service communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS-Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Yardi software
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
