Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist

At WakeMed Health & Hospitals, we are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team. As a respiratory therapist in this role, you will be responsible for providing airway management services to pediatric patients, including administration of oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and at least 1 year of clinical experience in neonatology and pediatrics. A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner (NCRCP) certification are also required. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications within 1 year of hire.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
