Role Overview

The Regional Sales Executive is tasked with promoting and selling products to distributors and dealers that constitute our clientele within their designated region, aiming to enhance Pella's sales and visibility in the market.

  • Familiarity with Pella's product offerings and services
  • Assess potential sales opportunities, propose solutions, and finalize sales
  • Track and analyze market trends and competitor actions
  • Engage in follow-up communications through calls and in-person meetings
  • Review sales performance metrics and formulate strategic initiatives for growth
  • Enhance professional expertise by participating in training sessions, reading industry publications, and networking
  • Keep leadership updated by providing reports on activities and outcomes, including daily call logs, weekly plans, and monthly territory evaluations
  • Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in computer applications and adept at managing time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in sales or customer service

Financial Responsibilities

Work Environment

Physical Requirements

The employee may occasionally need to sit, climb, or balance, and perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The role may require lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Specific vision capabilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
