Position Overview

The Medical Director, Advanced Heart Failure will oversee current clinical activities and develop new opportunities for advanced care and growth within the program. This role involves close collaboration with administrative partners in cardiology and surgery. The Medical Director will be responsible for the program's operational, financial, regulatory, and quality performance, as well as strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance current program clinical activities and develop new opportunities for advanced heart disease care and program growth.
  • Manage operational, financial, regulatory, and quality performance.
  • Collaborate with other medical directors and administrators within a matrixed structure.
  • Potentially engage in clinical research activities.
Qualifications
  • Board certification in cardiology and advanced CHF.
  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, team-based environment.
  • Interest or background in clinical research is desirable.
