About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Order Administration Specialist to join our team at Emerson Group. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for managing customer purchase orders, serving as the primary customer order contact, and coordinating all order-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and understand customer contracts to identify and document all requirements as defined in the customer purchase order, buying agreement, change order, specifications, terms, and conditions, and commercial requirements before acceptance.
  • Proactively work to prevent order issues post-booking.
  • Handle orders and transactions to meet customer requirements by utilizing appropriate lead time, order management tools, and subject matter experts.
  • Provide a highly responsive service-oriented interface for both external and internal customers to ensure an efficient, acceptable, and high-quality order experience for all parties involved.
  • Initiate discussions with customers to meet or exceed expectations of timeliness and quality.
  • Use time management/prioritization skills to proactively supervise orders and resolve issues throughout the lifecycle of the order.
  • Assist traffic and shipping with the smooth execution of the order from finished goods into the customer's hands.
  • Seek out opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain high levels of integrity and have strong relationship-building skills.
  • Execute timely resolution of customer invoice disputes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or in progress.
  • Zero (0) years of related experience required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
