Locum Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Southeastern, South Carolina

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated gastroenterologist to join our dynamic healthcare team at ICON Medical Network.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Gastroenterology Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders. You will perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies, creating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care, counsel patients on preventive measures and lifestyle modifications for better digestive health, and maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology through continuous education and participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree: Required
  • Coverage: full time

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location in Southeastern, South Carolina. As an independent contractor with ICON Medical Network, you will have access to comprehensive benefits, including healthcare coverage through the Independent Contractors Benefits Association (ICBA).
