Water Resources Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Water Resources Project Engineer to join our Washington D.C. team. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in water resources design and will be responsible for performing various design, permitting, construction support, and inspection tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and analysis of stormwater management practices
- Design of drainage networks, including pipe, slope, and outfall locations
- Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
- Development of Post Construction Stormwater Management plans and details
- Development of Erosion and Sediment Control plans
- Permit applications for state and local agencies
- Proficient in Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Written and communication skills
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design software preferred
- Professional Engineer License
- Water resource engineering design in District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia
- Proficiency in discipline specific design software, including TR-55, TR-20, HY-8, FlowMaster, and/or HEC-RAS preferred
Work can be performed on a hybrid schedule following a training period - a combination of office and remote work. In-Office work will be in the Washington, DC location. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking.
