Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing civil engineering projects, including land development, drainage systems, grading, and water resource management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop civil engineering projects, including land development, drainage systems, grading, and water resource management.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, such as project plans, reports, and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure projects are proceeding according to design and are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Utilize advanced engineering software and technology to optimize project outcomes.
  • Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professional Engineer, with a focus on civil engineering, land development, drainage, grading, and water resources.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Proficient in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • A proven track record of successfully completed engineering projects.
