Job Summary:

New Leaf Detox and Treatment Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate LVN to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Detox LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients recovering from substance abuse and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to clients in a residential detox setting, including medication observation, documentation, and education.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Medical Team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, coordinate medical appointments, and ensure timely documentation of client health status.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Team to provide education and counseling to clients and other healthcare providers on optimal use of medications.
  • Assist in the coordination of transportation for clients to appointments and ensure proper documentation.
  • Perform crisis intervention and initiate emergency protocols as needed.
  • Support and implement the New Leaf Detox and Treatment philosophy, promoting person-centered care and dignity.

Requirements:

  • Nursing Certificate, Registration, or License in California.
  • 1 year of experience working in addiction treatment (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Kipu EMR documentation (a plus).
