Our vehicles are designed to excel in various settings, whether at a campsite, job site, or during daily commutes.

Your Role

As a Senior Engineer in Mechanical Release, you will be crucial in ensuring the flawless mechanical integration of components within our automated systems. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, tolerance analysis, and verification and validation (V&V) testing will be vital in guaranteeing that all components operate harmoniously within the overall system and the final vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

    • Investigate V&V test failures to determine root causes and apply corrective measures.
    • Ensure compliance of all V&V test results with established quality standards.
  • Component Design and Analysis:
    • Perform weight simulations for assigned components to enhance system performance.
    • Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in component design.
    • Create Measurement & Tolerance (MtD) plans for precise component measurement.
    • Conduct component tolerance analysis to ensure proper functionality and assembly.
  • PFMEA Integration:
    • Review and comprehend Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for assigned components and the main system.
    • Identify potential failure modes and implement preventative strategies during design and integration phases.

Location & Travel Requirements
