We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in delivering innovative solutions for life sciences facilities. As a key member of our West Coast Life Sciences group, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of designers and engineers to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budget
  • Collaborate with clients and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Develop and implement sustainable solutions for life science projects
  • Mentor junior team members to help them grow and develop their skills
  • Utilize technical expertise to drive innovation and improvement in project delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 15+ years of practical application of mechanical engineering and design
  • Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • Ability to lead a medium to large team of designers and engineers
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Passion for buildings and construction with sustainability in mind
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient working knowledge of Revit or SmartPlant software
  • Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, or similar
  • Strong client management experience
  • Knowledge of lean practices
