Job Summary

The Springs at Tanasbourne is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and treatments, measuring vital signs, and performing other health services tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments
  • Measure vital signs and weight, and perform other health services tasks
  • Communicate with physicians, implementing physician orders, and reporting and documenting pertinent information
  • Work closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services

Requirements
  • 18 years of age
  • Prior experience as a caregiver or medication management experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug screen
  • Genuine love for seniors and a willingness to learn
