Position Overview
The Maywood Apartments, managed by CORE Realty Holdings Management Inc., is seeking a dedicated Leasing Consultant. This role is essential in representing the company while enhancing the net operating income through strategic leasing and marketing initiatives. Utilizing exceptional sales techniques and customer service skills, the Leasing Consultant will focus on optimizing market rents and ensuring high occupancy rates through positive resident interactions, all while adhering to established leasing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate under general supervision to oversee all marketing and leasing activities within the community, achieving targets set by the Community Manager, Leasing Director, and/or Regional Manager.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost traffic and improve rental closing rates.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitive landscapes in surrounding areas to effectively maximize rental prices.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, resources, and partners to enhance business generation and revenue retention.
• Present information clearly and respond to inquiries from prospective residents and current tenants.
• Complete all required training on CORE systems promptly.
• Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions and adapt to new challenges and conditions for complex assignments.
• Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and confidence in all aspects of performance.
• Fulfill all assigned tasks and responsibilities as requested.
• Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate safety equipment as necessary.
Required Skills
Communication Skills: Intermediate proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business-related documents and regulations.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to identify problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
Analytical Skills: Capability to collect relevant information and utilize it to make sound decisions regarding professional services.
Administrative Skills: Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and budgeting to meet client satisfaction and organizational goals.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills are required for calculating figures and amounts.
Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of integrated computer systems and business-related software is essential.
Effective Skills: Involvement in the assessment, management, and evaluation of leasing and public relations practices.
Additional Qualifications
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Regular attendance is crucial for this role.
• Previous leasing experience in the multifamily sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with Instagram is required.
